Krishna explains about 'The Creation' at different places and indicates that the entire existence is the coherence of ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ (nature) and ๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐ (spirit). HIS womb is the ๐ข๐๐๐๐ฉ-๐๐ง๐๐๐ข๐ (great ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ ) into which HE places the seed (๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐) which is the cause of the birth of all beings (14.3). ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐๐จ (qualities) and ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ง (evolution or change) are born of ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ (13.20) and ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ is also responsible for cause and effect; ๐๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐ is responsible for experiencing the polarities of ๐จ๐ช๐ ๐ (pleasure) and ๐๐ช๐ ๐ (pain) (13.21).
Krishna further elaborates and says, "There are two kinds of beings (๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐๐๐จ) in creation, the ๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ง (perishable) and the ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ง (imperishable). The perishable are all beings in the material realm. The imperishable is called ๐ ๐ค๐ค๐ฉ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ (soul) (15.16). But there exists another eternal Highest Being called ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ (Supreme Soul). Permeating the three worlds, HE sustains them (15.17). Essentially, it is eternal ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ , imperishable ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ and the perishable material world (๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐) .
Current scientific understanding is that it was pure energy at the beginning and some of the energy got converted into matter in due course of time. This matter is perishable and obeys certain physical laws which Krishna mentioned as cause and effect. This matter forms physical bodies of life forms and these life forms need energy to sustain. In a nutshell, everything we see around us is the interplay of energy and matter.
This current understanding is in tune with the above verses where Krishna said that he places seed (which is referred to as imperishable ๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐ here) in HIS womb (which is referred to as perishable ๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐ or ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ here) and life starts.
Krishna adds another dimension when he says that he is beyond both ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ and ๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐จ๐ yet supports them both. This clarity will enable us to realise ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ as well as ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฉ๐ข๐.
